Emergency plumbing services in Kent

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Not every plumbing problem needs a call-out in the middle of the night, but some cannot wait. Call straight away if any of these apply:

A dripping tap, a slow drain or a running toilet can usually wait until morning, though they are worth getting fixed before they get worse.

What to do before we arrive

A few minutes of action before the plumber arrives can save a lot of damage. Know where your main stop tap is now, before you ever need it. It is usually under the kitchen sink, in a utility room, under the stairs, in the garage or near the front door.

  1. Turn the main stop tap off by turning it clockwise. If it is stiff or stuck, do not force it, and tell us when you call.
  2. Open your cold taps and flush the toilet to drain the pipes and ease the pressure.
  3. Switch off your heating and any immersion heater if the leak is on the hot water system.
  4. Keep well clear of anything electrical that has got wet. Switch off at the consumer unit only if it is dry and safe to reach.
  5. Move belongings out of the way, catch drips with buckets and photograph the damage for your insurer.

How our emergency call-outs work

  1. You call and tell us what is happening. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays.
  2. We give you an honest arrival time before you commit to anything.
  3. When we arrive we make the property safe, find the fault and tell you the price before we start work.
  4. We carry out the repair. If the safest fix on the night is a temporary one, we will say so and explain what a permanent repair involves.

We cover the whole of Kent, with our fastest response around Maidstone and Medway. We do not carry out gas boiler work.
